Education
I will be earning my Bachelor of Arts in English Writing from Mississippi College in May of 2024. I will also have two minors: Psychology and Applied Humanities. I currently have a 4.0 GPA (and I plan to keep it!)

I've always wanted to be one of those people you see on college websites. My dream finally came true!
Activities and Honors
If I could sum up my college career in one word, it would have to be "busy." Ever since freshman year, I have kept my schedule full of extracurriculars, whether that be serving as the Campus Involvement and Public Relations Chairs of an on-campus social organization, being an active member of Mortar Board National Honor Society, or spending the last three semesters studying religion and identity in the musical Les Misérables. I've been blessed to go to a university that gives students so many opportunities to enrich both their academic and social lives.
Goals
After graduation, I plan to pursue a Master of Arts in English Rhetoric and Composition with the intent to work in the theatre industry as a writer and editor. During my final year of undergraduate, I will continue to conduct research on musical theatre texts as well as contribute to the writing environment at my university by serving as the Undergraduate Director of the Writing Center.
Experience
I joined the WC staff as an official Writing Consultant two years ago. As a Writing Consultant, I work one-on-one with students from a wide range of writing and language backgrounds. I love sharing my love for writing with others and helping them to feel confident in their own writing! I've also had the opportunity to be the Interior Design Specialist of the WC, listening to my fellow tutor's concerns and desires and making them a reality. Most recently, I coordinated the designing, ordering, and distribution of the WC's first ever sweatshirts. Next school year, I will be serving the WC in a new capacity—as the undergraduate director!
In Spring 2022, I approached my professor and asked if he would be interested in having a student run our program's social media accounts. Next thing I knew, I had all of the login information as well as a task to transform Lyric Stage's social media presence.
As the Lyric Stage at MC Social Media Intern, I manage both our Facebook and Instagram accounts and craft regular, tailored content. I also work closely with a team of graduate assistants and professors to ensure every aspect of Lyric Stage is moving efficiently.
For two months in the summer of 2022, I worked in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, the oldest national park in the United States. In fact, I was an employee there during its 150th anniversary year. Working as a Retail Sales Associate in Yellowstone was the coolest experience of my life, and I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to top it.
I worked a full-time job in the Snowlodge Gift Shop, helping customers select merchandise find Old Faithful (which was about a 2 minute walk from my store, maybe 5 minutes if a bison was blocking the sidewalk). I learned how to navigate the "Geyser Rush" and engaged with customers by sharing product information and welcoming them into the place I called home.
